The writing is mine
Guides, reviews, essays and video scripts are original work and remain my copyright. Quote a paragraph with a link back and we have no problem. Republishing a whole guide, translating one without permission, or feeding the archive into a commercial dataset is not permitted.
The photography is mixed
Most site photography comes from Unsplash under their licence and remains subject to it — that is not mine to sub-license, so do not lift those images for your own use, go to the source instead. Portraits of me, behind-the-scenes shots and video thumbnails are my own and are not licensed for reuse without permission.
Advice comes with no warranty
Prices move, stalls close, borders change their rules. Every guide states when it was last checked, and I check them twice a year, but nothing here is a guarantee. Verify visas, vaccinations and safety guidance with an official source before you travel.
Recommendations are opinions formed on the day I visited. Treat them as a starting point, not a promise.
Reviews and independence
I pay for the meals I review. Where a trip was funded by a brand or a tourism board, the guide and the video both say so at the top. No review score has ever been sold, and none is for sale.
Shop purchases
- Digital goods — guides and presets are delivered by email on payment. Because they cannot be returned, they are non-refundable unless the file is faulty or never arrived.
- Physical goods — merch ships from Bangkok. Faulty or wrong items are replaced within 30 days of delivery; send a photo first.
- Personal use only — a purchased guide or preset pack licenses one person. Do not redistribute the files or resell them.
Footage and image licensing
Video footage can be licensed for editorial or commercial use case by case. Send the clip, the intended use and the territory to press@kayiwacraves.com.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, where the site is operated.
