This is a personal travel and food site. It collects as little as possible, and nothing is sold to anyone.
What gets collected
Three things, and only when you choose to give them.
- Newsletter — your email address, stored with the mailing provider. Nothing else, no name required.
- Contact form — the name, email, country and message you type, delivered to my inbox and kept while the conversation is open.
- Shop orders — billing details handled entirely by the payment processor. Card numbers never reach this site.
Analytics
Page views are counted in aggregate: which pages get read, which country the visit came from, and which site linked here. No individual profiles, no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers.
Cookies
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Functional storage is limited to remembering whether you have dismissed the cookie notice. Embedded YouTube players set their own cookies once you press play — that is Google's policy, not mine.
If you never submit a form and never press play on a video, this site stores nothing about you.
Third parties
- Unsplash serves the photography, so your browser requests images from their servers.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces.
- YouTube hosts every video; watching happens on their platform under their terms.
- The payment processor handles all shop transactions and holds the billing record.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Newsletter emails carry an unsubscribe link in every send, which removes the address immediately. For anything else, write to hello@kayiwacraves.com and expect a reply within five working days.
Children
Nothing here is directed at children under 13, and no data is knowingly collected from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it and the newsletter carries a note. Older versions are available on request.
