Kayiwa Craves is paid for by the people who read it and, now and then, by companies it works with. This page explains exactly how, so you can weigh every link and recommendation for yourself.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, mostly the booking links in the Plan this trip section of each country guide. If you click one and book a hotel, a tour, an eSIM or travel insurance, the company pays me a small commission. The price you pay is the same.
- They are labelled. Every affiliate section carries a note that links to this page.
- They do not shape the guides. The route, the dishes, the costs and the places to skip are written from the trip. Booking links are added afterwards.
- They open a search, not a pick. Most links open a search for the city, so you choose the place, not a property I have been paid to push.

Display advertising
This site shows advertising served by Google AdSense. The ads are chosen and delivered by Google, not by me, and advertisers have no say over what I write or recommend. Ads can use cookies; see the Privacy Policy for how they work and how to opt out of personalised ads.
Sponsored content
Brands and tourism boards occasionally pay for coverage. When they do, the video says so at the start and the page says so at the top. Editorial control stays with me, and I pay for my own meals in food reviews.
The shop
The guides, presets, merch and gift sets in the shop are sold directly. Buying one is the most direct way to support the site.
Advertising
The site shows no display advertising at the moment. If that changes, this page and the privacy policy will be updated first.
